Who handles payment refunds?
For a purchase completed through Paddle checkout, Paddle acts as merchant of record and handles payment-related refund and withdrawal requests under its Refund Policy and applicable law. You can contact Paddle through the support link in your receipt, the Paddle customer portal when available, or Paddle Buyer Support.
If your checkout or receipt identifies a different payment provider or payment method, use the refund process and contact details shown there. SiteLang can help with product access or a service issue, but the payment provider may need to process a payment refund.
When can I request a refund?
Eligibility depends on the transaction, your location, the applicable provider policy, any statutory withdrawal or consumer rights, and the circumstances of the request. Paddle’s policy explains its process and regional rules for transactions made through Paddle. Nothing in this policy removes a right that cannot legally be waived.
If SiteLang access is missing or a significant technical issue prevents you from using the purchased service, contact [email protected] with your order reference so we can investigate and try to resolve it. If your purchase was through Paddle and the issue remains unresolved, you can also submit a request to Paddle through the methods above.
How do I stop renewals?
An order renews only if the checkout clearly identified it as recurring and stated the renewal interval and applicable price. For a recurring Paddle purchase, use the “Manage subscription” link in the Paddle purchase email or customer portal, or request cancellation through Paddle Buyer Support. Cancellation ordinarily stops future renewals at the end of the applicable billing period, as described in Paddle’s terms and your order.
For other payment providers, follow the cancellation instructions in your checkout, account or receipt. Cancellation is separate from a refund request. Disconnecting the plugin from SiteLang does not by itself cancel a recurring payment.
